Sal, I heard of your loss and I cannot imagine your incredible pain. My heart and strength goes out to you and your family. Please extend my best comfort to Theresa. I know you will feel his absence in the days, years to come but find comfort in knowing that you both gave him your heart as his parents. I know he holds wonderful memories of his life here with his family. A life full of love, hugs, smiles, accomplishments, and the pride of being your son. I'll hold you in my prayers as your broken hearts mend in peace and love.
Keep smiling, Sal.....the world needs it.

Although I was not as close to Mike as are many of you, I feel that I became another person in Mike's life that was truley impacted by his genuine personality, integrity and zest for life. You see, Mike and his shop were introduced to me about a year and a half ago by a friend (Andy Maroun) at work. I was told that he was opening a new shop in Chino and that I should check it out because Mike was a really good mechanic. I'm really big on helping business grow so i took my bike in and was very pleased with the work but more importantly, I was extremely impressed with this young kid and the many things that he was so excited about doing with his shop and future. I was immediately welcomed by Theresa, Sal and Mike's wife. There were many conversations with Mike, Theresa and Sal about everything and even about my bike sometimes! So i guess this condolence letter is to let you know how much your family impacted my thinking about business and people. Because of your family, the lines were blurred between the two and I can only hope that I can bring both of my boys to understand what this means because you have truely impacted my life.

I met Mike at a bike night a little over a year ago, he promised good prices and even better service... so I had to check it out, I go there and get some services done..in the mean while Mike and I started to chat it up about dirt bike riding and going stunting...and we became friends. Mike turned out to be a good friend and an all around good guy, never hesitated when I needed help. I send out my deepests condolences to Sal, Teresa and the Family. You will be in prayers. If you guys ever need anything do not hesitate to ask. He will always be remebered........

From the day I met Mike I knew he would be my friend for Life. His carefree outlook on everything that came at him made it immpossible to be unhappy around him. Mike was the most Magnetic person I had ever met I know from experience I would drive 30 miles each way every night after work in san diego just to hang with mike and in Arizona I was affectionatly known as the "Guy on the Couch", which he repaid me for by living on my couch in san diego. Mike was more than a friend he understood me, was always there for me even when I was a flake, and he never Judged me. Mike may have lived a short life but he has lived more than many people would in five lifetimes. There is nothing Mike wouldn't do and I was the same way he was my wingman or I was his whenever we were together whatever we were doing I knew Mikee would be there at my back or leadin the way to whatever crazy thing we were on next. I had the privilage of seeing mike become a great mechanic, rider, and Husband, and I thank god everyday that god brought Mike the cipres's , bernals, and evryone who I have met soley because of Mike he has truly changed my life.
So many memories you left to trace,
And for every memory we see your face.
For the path you took was not up to you,
And for this endless life you did not choose.
You'll keep the heavens entertained like you did here,
In your heart as to ours you'll keep us close and near.
No more pain no more suffer will you go through,
And remember my dear friend Mikee we will always love you.
You will not be forgotten but cherished forever,
Like a family should be you brought us together.
Wishing that I could be where you are,
But soon we'll reunite from the distance a far.
Waiting for the day to walk them Heavenly streets,
For it's by them Heavenly gates where you wait for us to meet.

I only met Michael recently. Our first meeting was at Steven and Meredith's wedding. I'm her dad. Words can't express how shocked I was when Meredith called me that morning with the "News". I lost my older brother in Iraq in April, and the gap still hurts. Although the hurt softens over time, it never goes away. Hang on to the memories, it's all we leave.I won't be able to attent the funeral, but I'm sending "Grandma" out to assest in any way possiable.
Hollar if I can help.

I don't know where to start. Mike was a great friend and always there to offer a helping hand. I will never forget the good times. Glad he was able to go to Phoenix with my friend David and I for a bike event. He showed us around and we left with wonderful memories. He truly had a passion for everything bike related. He was a great rider, mechanic, and an inspiration in many ways. Mike will be missed, but never forgotten.
Tara, I am so happy to have been at your wedding. Even though I met you there, in Austin, for the first time, I appreciate all the hospitality you and your family provided. Working with you at Smiths has been a pleasure as well. If there is ever anything I can do for you, please do not hesitate to ask.
Sal, Theresa, Chrissy, and Steven... You guys are like family to me and I am glad to have met you all. I am truly honored that you asked me to be involved with Area 51. After what has happened, I hope we can make it be what Mike had envisioned. I'm here for all of you.

I know Michael was loved so much by Tara and his entire family. I felt like I knew him from the stories that were shared with me and through the love that I saw in Tara's eyes when she talked about him. We don't understand why these things happen, we just hold on to the memories and know that one day we can ask that question and that you will see him again. I am praying for comfort in your hearts. Always here if you need me. Connie
