Mike's Masterpieces

This page shows the bikes that Mike put together, fixed, or updated at AREA 51 Motorsports.  He was truly a designer with a keen eye for how to customize bikes.  By using ideas from our customers, Mike would guide them to what items would look good and unique for their given situation.  Customers were always happy with the final product...he would have it no other way.

Suzuki GSX1300 Hayabusa
image This bike was upgraded with an extended swing arm and chain, chrome rims, larger rear tire (210mm), lowering kit (front and rear), Pingle electronic shift kit, VooDoo custom exhaust, Pig spotters with integrated blinkers, undertail kit with integrated lights, custom license plate, shorter side stand, and a K&N air filter.

image This is a bike that was wrecked up at GMR.  The restoration included a hard coolant line replacement, complete new plastics, levers, clip-ons, M4 exhaust upgrade and more.

Honda CBR600RR
image Danny's bike went from wrecked to road ready...the update included completely new aftermarket plastics, new exhaust, painted rims, HID's, levers, and a few engine parts.  We hit a few snags along the way but that is par for the course...this bike rips up GMR most weekends.

Honda CB954RR

This was a collaboration with our customer who purchased this bike after it had been wrecked.  Mike worked with John to restore it to better than new.  The updates included undertail kit, integrated tail light, custom license plate mount and light kit, custom mesh for fairing openings, chain & sprockets, and more.  It was completed in two phases.  This picture is of phase I which did not include completion of the swing arm and rear set painted to match frame.

Honda CBR1000RR
image CRG Levers, Pig Spotters with integrated turn signals, and new Dark Shield.  Also installed new undertail kit with integrated tail light.  This bike was damaged from a minor wreck on the left side.  It rolled out better than new.
